Chinese Medicine is a sophisticated and advanced medical treatment for a wide range of diseases. In the last 55 years, in Mainland China, the long existing Chinese Medicine has been creamed and further developed into Modern Chinese Medicine, which has evolved as a medical system able to respond to many levels of human need, from acute symptoms to subtle energetic imbalances. And for the best benefit of patients, it is thus practised together (combined) with Western medicine by dual doctors in Chinese hospitals. In the view of Chinese medicine theory, the balance of 'Yin' and 'Yang' is essential to the health of human body. Therefore, its treatment principle is to restore the balance of 'Yin' and 'Yang' by various therapeutic methods such as herbals and acupuncture. All of them are natural approaches. Chinese medicine is very safe and effective for a wide variety of chronic disorders and acute diseases when administered by properly qualified doctors. The treatment is individually tailored to meet the needs of each patient. 

   Acupuncture is one of the major therapeutic methods in Chinese medicine. It treats diseases/disorders by puncturing certain 'points' along the channels of the human body, with very tiny, disposable stainless-steel needles to induce stimulation by various manipulation methods. The patients may feel soreness, distension, heaviness or numbness, which is called 'de qi'. These sensations vary from patient to patient, depending on the constitution of the patient, the location of the points and the depth and direction of the needle insertion. However, the effect of treatment is closely related to this sensation. Acupuncture stimulates your own body's healing function to restore your health. Therefore, it is a purely natural treatment without introducing any external substances into your body.
